Terms of Use

Please read these terms before you use the student area of profbalaji.in. They are the rules for using the website, the practice questions and the mock tests.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using profbalaji.in, and in particular by signing in or creating a student account, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the student areas of the website. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf before you create an account.

2. What the website offers

The website shows the academy’s courses and free learning resources, and provides a sign-in area for students with chapter-wise practice questions and timed mock tests for CBSE Class 10 Science, CBSE Class 12 Physics and Chemistry, and State Board Class 12 Physics and Chemistry. The public pages are open to everyone. The practice and mock test modules are for approved students only.

3. Accounts and approval

  • You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for the security of that account.
  • You must give correct information when you apply, including your name, class and subjects.
  • Each student has one account and one access level, set by the academy.
  • Access is not automatic. The academy reviews each application and may approve, reject, suspend or end any account, and may change a student’s access level.
  • Your account is for you alone. Do not share it or let anyone else use it.

4. Fees and access period

Access to the practice and mock test modules costs ₹1,000 per academic year. Students of the academy’s classroom course and online course get access at ₹0, which is free. Anyone else who wants access should email contact@profbalaji.in, and the academy will confirm the details of access and any payment before access is activated. Access lasts for the academic year for which it is given. Refunds, if any, are as communicated by the academy when the fee is confirmed. The academy may change its fees for a future academic year.

5. Using the practice and mock test modules

  • Practice questions show the answer and explanation after you attempt a question. Mock tests are timed, and the correct answers are shown only after you submit, if the academy has chosen to show them for that paper.
  • The test clock is kept by our server, and it does not pause once you start. A test submitted after the deadline and a short grace period is accepted but marked as late.
  • Only multiple-choice questions and assertion-and-reason questions are marked on screen. Other question types are written on paper and evaluated by the academy.
  • Scores and statistics are meant to help you study. They are not an official result and do not predict your marks in any board or school examination.

6. What you must not do

  • copy, record, photograph, share, sell or post questions, answers, explanations or images from the modules, in whole or in part, outside the academy;
  • use scripts, bots or other tools to collect content from the website, or to answer tests for you;
  • try to see answers before a test is submitted, to get around the timer or the test rules, or to read or change another person’s data;
  • try to break, overload or gain access to parts of the website or its services that are not meant for you;
  • give false information, use someone else’s identity, or use the website for anything unlawful or harmful.

If you break these rules, the academy may suspend or end your access, without refund, and may take any other step the law allows.

7. Ownership of content

The questions, answers, explanations, images, study resources, text, design and other content on this website belong to Prof. Dr. S. Balaji Science Academy or its licensors, and are protected by Indian copyright law. While your access is active, you may use the modules for your own personal study. You get no other right to copy, change, distribute or use the content commercially without the academy’s written permission.

8. Availability and changes

We try to keep the website running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free from errors or interruption. We may change, pause or stop any part of the website, and may update these terms. When we change these terms, the date at the top is updated, and if you keep using the website after that, you accept the updated terms.

9. Disclaimer and limit of liability

The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We take care over the questions and answers, but we do not promise that they are free from mistakes, or that using the website will give you any particular marks, rank or result. To the extent the law allows, the academy is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the fee you paid for the access period concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited.

10. Links to other websites

The website links to services run by others, such as YouTube, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Substack. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them or about the use of the website.
